Ministry of Tribal Affairs Recruitment 2021: Ministry of Tribunal Affairs has postponed the recruitment exam date for recruitment to the post of Principal, Vice Principal, PGTs and TGTs in the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) in 17 States across the country.
According to the notice, the ETSSE-2021 Examination is postponed until further notice due to the present situation of COVID-19. A new examination schedule including the correction window for the ETSSE2021 shall be informed to the candidates in due course. Earlier, the exam was to held in June 2021. Candidates are advised to keep checking the NTA Recruitment Portal (https://recruitment.nta.nic.in/WebinfoEMRSRecruitment) as well as the SMS and their respective e-mails registered for this exam, on regular basis.
The last date of online application submission was 31 May 2021. A one-month window shall be provided to the candidates for applying who have not been able to apply till 31 May 2021.
This drive is being to fill around 3479 vacancies of teaching staff in the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) in 17 States across the country. The recruitment drive has been initiated jointly with respective States in order to meet the rising demand of teachers for the clear vacancies in already functional schools and schools going to be functional this year, calculated after excluding the posts currently filled by regular and ad-hoc/contractual staff.

Principal - The candidate holding master’s degree in any schooling subjects from a recognized University are eligible to apply or having a Master’s or Bachelors’ degree in Teaching or Post-Graduate Basic Training of any Teachers’ Training Institute recognized by the National Council of Teachers’ Education; candidates with 10 years continuous service experience as a teacher in an English Medium High or Higher Secondary School recognized by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education/West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education/Central Board of Secondary Education/Indian Council of Secondary Education.
