    The National Law Institute University invites applications from the Indian Citizen on the prescribed form for filling up the following Teaching and Non- Teaching posts.

    • Last Date of Submission of Applications:  10 January 2014 up to 5:30 P. M.

    A.   Teaching Positions

    Professor: 2 Posts

    Associate Professor: 5 Posts

    Assistant Professor: 8 Posts

    B.   Non – Teaching Positions

    4.   Name of the Post :           “Programmer”           -           01 Post.

    5.   Name of the Post :           “Physical Instructor” -           01 Post. (On Contractual Basis).

    Educational Qualification & Experience

    • For Professor 

    Essential Qualification

    Ø  An eminent scholar with Ph. D. qualification(s) in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with minimum of 10 publications in  Journals.

    Ø  The Ph. D. Degree shall be a mandatory qualification.

    • For Associate Professor 

    Ø  Good academic record with a Ph. D Degree in the concerned / allied / relevant disciplines.

    Ø  The Ph. D. Degree shall be a mandatory qualification.

    Ø  A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading systems is followed) in relevant subject.

    • For Assistant Professor  

    Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

    Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/ SET.

    • For Programmer   

    Essential Qualification:

    Master’s degree in Computer Science OR B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science OR

     Master in Computer Application with min. 55% marks. 

    • For Physical Instructor

    Essential Qualification:

    Bachelor of Physical Education or its equivalent degree. 

    Remuneration/ Pay Scale

    • For Professor  :

    In the Pay Scale of Rs. 37,400 – Rs. 67,000/- with Academic Grade Pay (AGP) of Rs. 10,000/-

    • For Associate Professor  :

    In the Pay Scale of Rs. 37,400 – Rs. 67,000/- with Academic Grade Pay (AGP) of Rs. 9,000/-

    • For Assistant Professor  :

    In the Pay Scale of Rs. 15,600 – Rs. 39,100/- with Academic Grade Pay (AGP) of Rs. 6,000/-

    Fee Payable 

    Registration Fee of Rs. 100/- for General & Other candidates and Rs. 50/- for SC/ ST through crossed Demand Draft in favour of the “Director, NLIU; Bhopal” payable at Bhopal

    How to Apply 

    • Separate Application on the prescribed form must be submitted for each post.
    • Scale of Pay, essential and desirable qualifications, general conditions, other details and application form, can be downloaded from website www.nliu.ac.in. 
    • The ST/ SC/ OBC candidates will be given preference.

    • A Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- (Rs. 50/- for ST/ SC Candidates), non-refundable, drawn in favour of the “Director, NLIU; Bhopal” payable at Bhopal must be enclosed with the application form.

    Selection Procedure

    The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Preliminary Test/ Written Test/ Trade Test/ Interviews, which is conducted by the administration.
