TISS Recruitment 2015 for 50 Field Investigator Posts

    Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) invited applications for the posts of Field Investigator in various locations. The eligible candidates can apply online to the post through the prescribed format on or before 15 October 2015.

    TISS Vacancy Details:

    Name of the Post: Field Investigator - 50 Posts

    Pay Scale: Rs.22500 (Lumpsum) for field work including local travel and data uploading. Travel cost for training and outstation field work if any (second class railway fare) shall be met separately.

    Eligibility Criteria for TISS Field Investigator Jobs:

    Educational Qualification: Post-graduate University degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, with minimum passing percentage of 50% marks in the aggregate. At least 2-3 years of experience in the development sector especially conducting research studies or working in action research projects and Good IT skills are essential. MPhil/PhD Scholars belonging to the districts listed above would be preferred. Work has to be initiated around 11th November and finished by 15th December. In States where partner institutions have identified field investigators, they would given first preference.               

    Selection Procedure for TISS Field Investigator Jobs:

    The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the interview/exam conducted by the commission.
