The final set of dates for the admission of undergraduate students for the academic year 2016-17 in Delhi University (DU) has been announced recently. This year the university has decided to make the application process entirely online and this will begin from 1 June 2016. The admission registration process will continue till 19 June 2016. After analyzing all the registration and marks attained by the students in the intermediate class the cut-off percentage will be made public on 27 June 2016. The admissions in various colleges under the Delhi University will begin from the same date.
In order to guide students about the process of the newly introduced online admission, the Delhi University has organized ‘Open Days’ programme. Under this programme the students will be introduced to the new system and given proper training about how to apply for the undergraduate courses successfully. On 1 June 2016, there will be two sessions arranged and it will continue in the following days as well. The first session of the programme will begin from 10 am and the second one will begin from 1 pm. The sessions will get conducted at the Conference Centre in North Campus of Delhi University. Along with the ‘Open Days’ programme, the colleges under the Delhi University will also conduct their own orientation programme.
The details about the proceedings of admission and further course taken by students will be released in the official website of Delhi University today on 31 May 2016. This will help candidates get a clear idea about the proceedings, so that they could start admissions properly.
