For its undergraduate psychology programme commencing from September 2014, the University of Southampton has offered a number of International Merit Scholarships worth £7,500 to Indian students. The programme includes contemporary psychology - clinical, cognitive, health, learning and social.
Each student will get a scholarship of £2,500 on successful completion of the first semester. This will be repeated for each year of the course, subject to students’ satisfactory progress, covering the total scholarship amount of £7500 over three years.
The scholarship will be awarded to students who gain admission to the university’s psychology programme and it will be paid annually subject to academic progression, reads the official notice.
The fee for the programme is £16,320 (per annum), and the last date for application is 30 June 2014. Applications must be submitted through UCAS.
