Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) or popularly known as UP Board, released the results for class 10th and 12th on April 27, 2019. UP Board declared the 10th, 12th results on its official website – upmsp.edu.in. In class 10, Gautam Raghuvanshi from Kanpur won the first position with 97.17% wheras in class 12 Tanu Tomar got the top rank with 97.80%.
Once again girls outshined boys in both class 10 and 12 examinations. In high school examination, girls achieved a pass percentage of 83.98 per cent whereas boys attained 76.66 per cent. In intermediate, pass percentage of girls was observed to be 76.46 percent in comparison to 64.40 percent achieved by boys.
This year, in UP Board results, the high school pass percentage saw an increase by 4.91 per cent in comparison to last year’s 75.16 per cent whereas for intermediate the percentage recorded a fall of 2.37 per cent in comparison to last year’s 72.43 per cent.

In UP Board Class 10 Result 2019, 21 candidates grabbed the first 10 positions. There was a tie for each of 4th, 5th and 6th positions. 6 candidates grabbed the 8th and 9th positions (with 3 on each). 5 candidates secured the 10th position with scoring 566 out of 100 marks.

In UP Board Class 12 Result 2019, first 10 positions were secured by a total of 14 candidates with 2 candidates on 5th and 6th positions each and 3 candidates on 8th position.

For class 10, the UP Board had conducted exam from February 7 to February 28 and the UP Board 12th examination 2019 was conducted from February 7 to March 2. This year, around 36 lakh students appeared for the UP Board class 10 examination, while around 30 lakh examinees sat for the UP Board class 12 examination.
