UP Board Syllabus Class 10 2022-23
Students must be careful about the deleted portions from the latest syllabus. Like the past year, U.P. Board is going to assess only 70% of the prescribed annual syllabus in the upcoming board exam for 2022-23 as well. Also, this year there would be five monthly examinations in the year. Features of UP Board Class 10 2023 Syllabus
- UPMSP matric syllabus is revised and updated with 30 percent reduction in the course content.
- Inclusion of 30 percent Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in the question paper.
- 30 percent marks to be evaluated based on MCQs and the other 70 percent marks to be evaluated on the basis of Descriptive questions.

UP Board Class 10 Exam Pattern 2023
Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) publishes the examination pattern of each subject in the subject wise syllabus annually. Students who are appearing for the 2022-23 board exams must go through these UP Board 10th exam patterns for each subject for better preparation.
- Inclusion and increased weightage of Objective type questions in the question paper.
- 30 percent marks to be based on MCQs.
- 70 percent marks to be given on the basis of Descriptive questions.
- 2023 UP board exam question paper will be divided into two sections.
- First part will have the Multiple choice questions to be attempted in the OMR sheet.
- Second part will have subjective questions such as short answer questions and long answer questions.
- Monthly school level tests to be conducted in the academic year wherein some tests would be MCQ based while the rest, subjective.
