This year, the pass percentage of UP Board High School Result is 75.16% as 1062 boys and 787 girl students have scored more than 90% in UP Board exams 2018.

The major reason behind good results of UP Board High School students is that the Schools have done good internal marking as students were given more than 25 marks out of 30 (allotted for internal marks). The internal and project marking scheme for Class 9th and 10th was started in academic session 2011-2012. Therefore, every subject has external marks 70 and internal marks 30 which also include project work (practical).

As per the board officials, students were only given 26, 27, or 28 marks out of maximum internal marks 30. That is no student was given less than 25 in internal marks.

Moreover, this year onwards UPMSP will be uploading the answer sheet of UP Board High School Exams in online mode. This is will be helpful for students to get to know the grading scheme for UP Board High School Exams.
