Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the result of written examination of the Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination (SCRA), 2012 on 14 May 2012. The examination was held on 29 January 2012 by UPSC for recruitment of candidates as Special Class Apprentices in Mechanical Department of Indian Railways.

The candidature of these candidates is PROVISIONAL subject to their being found eligible in all respects.
Interview of candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test are tentatively scheduled to commence from 18 June 2012. The exact date of interview will, however, be intimated to the candidates through e-mail followed by Interview Letter.
