UPSEE Counselling 2019 registration begins today and eligible candidates can apply online for the online UPSEE 2019 Counselling process at www.upsee.nic.in. Recently, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow has released a notification about the complete counselling process in Hindi language and here we have provided the important details from the official notification and explained the complete process in detail.

JoSAA 2019: Counselling Schedule & Step by Step Registration Process
Major steps of the complete UPSEE Counselling 2019 process:
Step 1: Registration & Document uploading
Step 2: Payment of Counselling Fee
Step 3: Verification of Uploaded Document by the authority
Step 4: Confirmation SMS about the completion of the document verification process
Step 5: Choice filling by the newly registered candidates
Step 6: Result of Seat Allotment
Step 7: Seat acceptance and submission of seat acceptance fees. Options to select ‘Freeze’ and ‘Float’
Freeze/Float – Stage 1, Freeze/Float – Stage 2, Freeze/Float – Stage 3, Freeze/Float – Stage 4,
Step 8: Seat withdrawal facility will be provided at Stage (2) and (3)
Step 9: Download provisional seat allotment (after seat confirmation)
Step 10: Reporting at the college/institute.
Major states of UPSEE 2019 Counselling Process:
Stage 1 of UPSEE Counselling 2019:
(1) Registration → Document Uploading → Document Verification by Authority→ Confirmation of Document Verification by Authority → Choice Filling by the Candidates (Online)
To participate in the UPSEE 2019 counseling process, eligible candidates (who have cleared UPSEE 2019) need to register online at www.upsee.nic.in and need to submit Rs. 1000 as registration charges. After registration, candidates need to upload necessary documents. These documents will be verified by the authority and after verification of document a confirmation SMS will be sent to the register mobile numbers of the candidates.
(2) Seat Allotment →Display of Result → Submission of Confirmation Fees → Candidates need to select freeze or float option
Seats will be allotted (online) as per the availability of seats, ranks and preferences of the candidates. The result will be displayed and after the seat allotment, candidates need to submit the confirmation fees (Rs. 20,000 for General/OBC and Rs. 12,000 for SC/ST). After fees submission, candidates need to select either Freeze or Float option.
By default, Float option will be selected if the candidates will not select either of the two options.
Freeze: Candidate who is satisfied with his or her seat and do not want any further changes. (However, their seat category can be modified). Such candidates can select freeze.
Float: Candidate who is not satisfied with his or her seat and wants to upgrade should select float option.
Candidates can check seat allotment (Round0wise) result after login.
Candidates who will select freeze option will not have any option to modify in further rounds.
Important:
Candidates who will not submit the confirmation fees then seat allotted to them will be cancelled and they will be debarred from the completed counselling process.
Stage 2 of UPSEE Counselling 2019:
Candidates NOT eligible to participate at this stage:
• Candidates who have not submitted the seat confirmation fees.
• Candidates who were not eligible during the document verification process.
Candidates eligible to participate at this stage: Candidates eligible at this stage are divided in 4 Groups
Group – 1: New Candidates
• Candidates not registered yet can register online and submit registration fee (Rs. 1000)
• Registered candidates who have not submitted registration fees
• Registered candidates who have submitted registration fees but not selected any option during round 1
Group – 2: Freeze Candidates (or candidates who have selected freeze option)

There will be no modification in the option selected by the candidates and seat allotted to such candidates will remain as it is. However, categories from which seat have been allotted to such candidates can get modified (but it will not have any effect of the result).
Group – 3: Freeze Candidates
• Candidates who have submitted all the fess but not selected freeze option.
• If candidates will not select any option at this round then previously allotted will be considered as final.
Group – 4:
Candidates who not allotted any seats in previous counselling after filling of choices can have another option to modify seats.
