UPSSSC Gram Vikas Adhikari Exam 2016: Only 12% of the registered candidates have appeared

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has conducted the online examination for recruitment to Gram Vikas Adhikari. The examination was held on 05 June 2016. Out of the total number of registered candidates, only 12% of it had appeared for the examination.

The Commission had allotted a total of 197 examination centres for selection to the post of Gram Vikas Adhikari. However due to the less number of examinees, examination centres wore a deserted look. While a total of 127607 candidates had registered for the examination, only 15312 candidates sat down for the examination.

The question paper comprised of questions related to General Intelligence, General Knowledge and related topics. The question paper was set in Hindi. Except few questions from the Reasoning section, rest other questions were of medium level of difficulty. Some of the questions were also related to the geographical features of the State.

The second phase of examination for recruitment to 3133 Gram Vikas Adhikari posts will be personal interview and will carry a total of 20 marks.
