West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WB JECA) for MCA

Conducted by: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board

About the Institute: West Bengal has a number of reputed Institutes and thus has candidates from all over India applying for them.

Purpose: To shortlist students for their institute

Cost of form: Rs 400

Eligibility Criteria: A Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics/Statistics as a subject.

Date of Examination: 1st week of June 2011

Deadline for Application submission: 2 May 2011

Selection Process: Each candidate is supposed to take an entrance test

Duration of Paper: 2 and a half hour

Type of Questions: Part A – Aptitude test, 100 marks, 1 hour; Part B – Mathematics, 100 marks, 1 and a half hour.

Based on the test and on personal interview, the candidates are selected.
