Institutional Excellence Forum (IEF) and YMK Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which would enable the Yenepoya University, Mangaluru to provide Inclusive Education Programme to its students. Under this programme students would be able to pursue their dreams with their in-born abilities and interests along with learning.
The MoU was signed between Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, Chancellor of Yenepoya University and Manab Mishra who is the secretary of IEF. He signed on behalf of the YMK Memorial Trust and IEF as well. The programme would include students of 10 schools from in and around Mangaluru and cover more such schools in phased manner as the programme grows. This MoU is expected to strengthen the pursuit of inclusive education and excel the students in various ranges of educational endeavors in future.
The IEF Trustee, Probir Roy, while speaking at the event of signing of MoU emphasized the requirement of training of faculty and pointed out the role of teachers and principals in developing the next generation children through inclusive education programme. Manab Mishra who is the secretary of IEF said that “Institutional Excellence Forum and their work would make India a preferred destination for higher education and develop excellence attitude to make India a better informed career hub.”
Dr. Sanjiv Layek who is the editor of IAMR Journal of Management and Entrepreneurship emphasized on the role of subject matter experts in the MoU signing programme. Vice Chancellor of Yenepoya University, Dr. M Vijaya Kumar expressed his hope that the initiative would bear fruit for the countless students of the country and lead them to a better direction.
