The University was established in 1935 by freedom fighters and educationists Hiralal Shastri and Ratan Shastri. Approved by the UGC (University Grants Commission) and accredited by the NAAC with ‘A++’ grade. Banasthali Vidyapith is ranked at 68th position in Engineering, 23rd in Pharmacy, 58th in University and 97th position in Overall category, as per the NIRF rankings 2023.

BVU Jaipur Admission 2025
Banasthali Vidyapith offers course admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. For admission to the courses, candidates have to appear for the Aptitude Test conducted by the Banasthali Vidhyapith. Candidates should have NATA/JEE Main scores for admission to B.Arch course. For admission to Postgraduate courses in Biotechnology, candidates with GAT-B scores are exempted from writing Aptitude Test conducted by the University. Candidates for admission to B.Ed course should appear for the entrance examination and 50% weightage is given to marks obtained in the qualifying examination. For admission to other UG and PG courses, candidates have to appear for Banasthali Vidyapith Aptitude Test and the candidates are shortlisted on the basis of merit. Candidates must fulfil the Banasthali Vidyapith University selection criteria, as per the respective courses. Further, candidates can visit the official website of the University to fill the application form for registration. To confirm the admission, candidates must get their documents verified and pay the course fee. Candidates can also avail Banasthali Vidyapith scholarships under certain criteria.
