RMK Engineering College is a private, autonomous college, located in Kavaraipettai, Gummidipoondi Taluk, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1995, affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai. It is one of the Tier-I institutions of Tamil Nadu. As per NIRF rankings 2023, RMKEC, Thiruvallur is placed in the 151-200 rank band.

RMKEC Tiruvallur offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Admission to the courses is based on national/state-level entrance examinations. Candidates must fulfil the RMK Engineering College admission criteria to be eligible for the courses. The Career Development Centre (CDC) of RMK Engineering College provides various services to enhance the employability and placement opportunities of the students. The RMK Engineering College placement cell interacts with reputed companies to arrange campus interviews, industrial visits, in-plant training and career guidance programmes. The CDC also conducts training programs on technical and soft skills and counsels the students for their higher studies and projects. It has a campus size of 60 acres with a student and faculty count of 3110 and 228 respectively.
