Admission

VIT Vellore admission is based on both merit and entrance examinations. The institution conducts VITEEE for BTech admission, VITMEE and VITBEE for MTech and MBA admissions, respectively and VITREE for PhD admission. VIT University also accepts national/ state-level entrance examinations for admission to a few of the courses. VIT Vellore application mode varies from course to course. For some of the courses, both online as well as offline forms are available while for others, only online forms are available. VIT Vellore campus has a total of 18 boys hostels which can accommodate around 1300 students. The rooms are available on single, double and triple sharing basis with all basic amenities for the students.
Girls Hostel

VIT Vellore has 6 hostels for the girls students which can accommodate 4300 students. A well equipped gymnasium and swimming pool is also present inside the hostel premises.
Transport

The university has buses for transportation of students, faculty and staff members. Students are required to pay a minimal sum to avail transportation services.
