Union Finance Minister of India, Pranab Mukherjee, presented the Budget 2011-12 in the Lok Sabha of Indian Parliament. For Agrilculture and Allied sector a fund of 14362 crore rupees was given while Bharat Nirman scheme was allocated 58000 crore rupees
The Union Budget 2011-12 was drafted with an objective to promote sustained economic growth, strengthen infrastructure, moderate the price rise & reduce social imbalances through inclusive development.
Union Finance minister of India, Pranab Mukherjee, presented the budget in the Parliament on 28 February 2011. The total expenditure proposed for 2011-12 is Rs 1257729 crore. Indian Economy is expected to grow at 9% in 2011-12.
The Economic Survey of India 2010-11 was tabled in the Parliament. It predicted the 9% growth for Indian economy in the next fiscal and estimated 8.6 percent growth in this financial year.The Economic Survey also expressed concern over inflation
