Chief Minister of Jharkhand Arjun Munda on the 13th Foundation Day of the State announced tablet computers for students who will pass matriculation. The Chief Minister made this announcement to prepare students of the states against the challenges that they would face in the tough competitive world of 21st Century.
On the eve of foundation day celebration, the Chief Minister also declared that he would be working for making all the departments of the state paperless by getting them fully computerised. The chief minister also market the year ahead as the Year for the Youth and Skill Development and the state would government would work forward to create more employment opportunities for the youths in the state.
The next five-year plan of the state had earmarked funds for benefitting about 25 lakh youths as a whole. On this foundation day celebration the state-government announced an end to the previous year agenda- the Year for Girl Child.
