Assembly polls to be held in Andhra, Odisha and Sikkim simultaneously with Lok Sabha polls

The Election Commission of India on 5 March 2014 announced the date of Assembly elections in three states Sikkim, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. These elections will be held simultaneously with the Lok Sabha polls.

Dates for conducting the Assembly elections
• Odisha Assembly will be held in two phase poll - with 70 seats going to polls on 10 April 2014 and 77 on 17 April 2014
• Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections will be held in two phase poll - on 30 April 2014 for 119 seats and on 7 May 2014 for remaining 175 seats of Andhra Pradesh Assembly
• Sikkim polls will be held - on 12 April 2014 for all 32 seats
