Australian wicket-keeper Alyssa Healy broke MS Dhoni's record of dismissals as a wicket-keeper in T20 International cricket on September 27, 2020. Alyssa Healy now has to her name a total of 92 dismissals in T20 International cricket, while MS Dhoni has 91 dismissals in the same format of the game.
The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), one of the oldest allies of the BJP-led NDAL alliance, has decided to pull out from the alliance in protest against the passing of the farm reform bills. The move comes just a few days after SAD leader Harsimrat Kaur Badal quit the union cabinet as Food Processing Minister over the agriculture bills.
The United States has informed the Iraqi government that it will completely pull out from Baghdad unless it reins in attacks on personnel linked to the American presence there. US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo reportedly informed Iraqi PM Mustafa al-Kadhimi of the decision.
Vodafone Group PLC has won a long-pending arbitration against India with the Permanent Court of Arbitration in Hague ruling that the Indian income tax authorities had violated provisions of the Bilateral Investment Treaty with the Netherlands by amending the law retrospectively to demand over Rs 20,000 crore in tax and penalties.

The 113th birth anniversary of Indian revolutionary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh was observed on September 28, 2020. On this day in 1907, Bhagat Singh was born in Banga village of Lyallpur district of undivided Punjab province. He fought against British rule for the country's independence and was hanged in Lahore jail at the age of 23, along with Rajguru and Sukhdev.

The Nectar Life Sciences and Sterile India has filed an application regarding the same before the Commerce Ministry's investigation arm Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR).
