Former office bearer of the Mumbai Cricket Association's (MCA) Ramesh Kosambia died at his residence in Borivli on 5 January 2015. He was 87.
Kosambia who was part of the Bal Mahaddalkar group which swept the MCA elections in the late 1980s is survived by three sons and a daughter.
• He served MCA as the Joint Secretary of Mumbai Cricket Association for 7 years from 1989 to 1994 & 2005 to 2007
• He served MCA as Treasurer for 9 years from 1988 to 1990 & 1998 to 2005
• He also served the Association as the Managing Committee member
• He was associated with the Association for more than 60 years
