Indian Men's Hockey Team finished fifth at 3rd Asian Champions Trophy 2013

Indian men's hockey team finished fifth at the 3rd Asian Champions Trophy at Kakamigahara, Japan on 10 November 2013. In a fifth-sixth place match, India defeated Oman 6-1 by scoring at regular intervals in both halves of the game.

Pakistan men and Japan women were crowned as the winners of the Asian Champions Trophy following victories over Japan and India respectively. The Bronze medal in men’s category went to Malaysia, who defeated China 3-0. Malaysia women matched their male counterparts by taking Bronze in the four-nations tournament, claiming a surprise victory over China.
