J&K Minister Sham Lal Sharma resigned

Sham Lal Sharma, the Minister for Public Health Engineering and Flood Control in Jammu & Kashmir on 24 October 2014 resigned from his office.

Sharma, who is a Congress minister in the Omar Abdullah Cabinet met Jammu and Kashmir's Congress Chief Saif-ud-din Soz and handed over his resignation.

Sharma, a Congress legislator from Akhnoor and also known as firebrand party leader cited alleged sabotage of regularisation of daily wagers as a reason for tendering his resignation.
