Kshatrapati Shivaji appointed as CMD of Small Industries Development Bank of India
Shivaji was appointed on deputation basis for a period of three years.
Kshatrapati Shivaji was on 27 February 2015 appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director (MD) of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). Shivaji was appointed on deputation basis for a period of three years.
Shivaji, a 1986 batch IAS officer, is currently the Principal Secretary (Expenditure), Finance Department in Maharashtra government.
Prior to this, Shivaji served as Director of state-run manganese-ore mining firm, MOIL Limited until March 2013. Earlier, he served as Principal Secretary of Industries at Government of Maharashtra and as a Chairman and Managing Director at Maharashtra State Financial Corporation.
Shivaji also served as Director of Sicom Limited.
