2017 Global Financial Centres Index places London at the Top; Mumbai ranked at 60th position

The 2017 Global Financial Centres Index (GFCI) released by Z/Yen Group in collaboration with China Development Institute (CDI) has placed London at the top with 780points. London managed to retain its position despite fears that the city will become less attractive due to BREXIT. The September 2017 issue of the GFCI places India’s financial capital Mumbai at the 60th position, which is three positions up than the March 2017 list.
