Sanjeev Kulkarni appointed dean of Princeton University Graduate School

Indian-American Professor Sanjeev Kulkarni was appointed as the Dean of Princeton University Graduate School on 5 February 2014. He will succeed William Russel, the present dean of the Princeton University Graduate School since 2002.

His appointment was recommended by Princeton University President Christopher L Eisgruber and approved by the Board of Trustees.

Sanjeev Kulkarni at present is the professor of electrical engineering and director of the Keller Center. He will take the charge as next dean from 31 March 2014.

imageKulkarni is the author of An Elementary Introduction to Statistical Learning Theory, published in 2011.
Kulkarni joined the Princeton University as faculty in 1991.
