Chris Gayle of West Indies has become the first batsman to score 14,000 runs in the history of T20.
During the third T20I match between West Indies and Australia, Chris Gayle became the first batsman to score 14,000 runs in the history of T20. The player had smashed 67 runs off 38 balls while chasing the target of 142 runs set by the Australian team. Gayle reached the milestone of 14,000 runs in a 20 over the game with a six-off.

Yashpal Sharma who was a member of the Indian Cricket team that had won the 1983 world cup passed away at the age of 66 due to a cardiac arrest. Sharma’s career spanned over the late 70s and 80s and he was regarded as the gifted middle-order batsman. India had won the 1983 World Cup under the captaincy of Kapil Dev.
Cuba has successfully developed the world’s first conjugate Coronavirus vaccine named Soberana-2. The country’s state-run corporation Biofarma confirmed that its indigenously produced vaccine has shown 91.2% efficacy during the phase-3 clinical trials. Cuba, if approved, will become the first Latin American country to develop and produce the COVID vaccine.
The cryptocurrency bill will be presented in the Monsoon Session of Parliament that will begin on July 19, 2021. The new bill on cryptocurrencies suggests a ban on private cryptocurrencies in India. It also facilitates the creation of an official digital currency. The new bill was taken up in the Budget session of the Parliament.
