Government employees of J&K, Ladakh to get allowances as per 7th Pay Commission

DAC approves procurement of indigenous equipment worth Rs 3300 crore
The DAC has approved the procurement of indigenously designed and developed equipment worth over Rs 3,300 crore for the Indian armed forces. This would be the first time that the defence ministry is giving the responsibility of designing and manufacturing complex military equipment to the Indian private sector.
NCRB Report: Uttar Pradesh tops the list in crimes against women in country
The National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) has released the figures of crimes against women in India during 2017-18. In total, around 50 lakh criminal cases were recorded during the period, out of which the state of Uttar Pradesh accounts for almost 10.1 percent of the crimes. Maharashtra is second on the list with 31,979 cases of crime against women.
