Sanna Marin will be the youngest-ever PM in the world. She is all set to take oath as the new Prime Minister of Finland. Her age is just 34-years. She has recently won the elections to head Finland’s coalition government.

SIPRI Report: Arms Sales Up by 5 percent globally

As per the latest SIPRI Report, Arms manufacturers’ profit rose to USD 420 billion in 2018. Three Indian companies were part of this index. These companies are - Hindustan Aeronautics (38), Indian Ordnance Factories (56) and Bharat Electronics (62). However, Lockheed Martin of the USA secured its first place in the index.

Indo-China joint military exercise Hand-in-Hand

Hand-in-Hand is an annual Indo-Chinese military exercise held under a United Nations mandate. Hand-in-Hand will organize special training for anti-terrorism operations. It will also organize two strategic programs during the entire training session.

International Anti-Corruption Day observed

International Anti-Corruption Day 2019 was observed on December 9. This years’ theme was - “United against Corruption”. This theme mainly focuses on creating awareness among people. It also asks the people to take some concrete action against corruption and tell other people not to keep quiet if someone demanding a bribe.

Zozibini Tunzi crowned as Miss Universe-2019

South Africa’s Zozibini Tunzi became the Miss Universe of 2019 by defeating more than 90 contestants from all over the world including Miss India. Indian contestant Vartika Singh made it to the top 20 contestants. Miss Puerto Rico Madison Anderson was the first runner-up of the event. However, the second runner-up was Miss Mexico Ashley Alvidrez.
