Union Ministry of Culture launched the logo, posters and webpage of the Festival of India in China
Union Ministry of Culture on 24 April 2014 launched the logo, posters and webpage of the Festival of India in China. The festival has been organized as the year 2014 was declared as the India-China Year of Friendly Exchanges. The festival will be celebrated from May 2014 to March 2015 in 12 cities of China in 4 circuits. The festival is being organized by Union Ministry of Culture and Union Ministry of External Affairs.
The Colourful logo was made by putting together the face of a Kathakali dancer (left side) and a Beijing opera mask (right side) and it represents the spirit of cooperation and harmony underlying the Glimpses of India Festival.
The Poster for Festival of India in China, two posters for Circuit 1 and Circuit 2 has been released. The webpage for the Festival has been created and covers event schedule, updates and also photographs and video links.
The Festival of India in China covers a wide-range of events such as exhibitions of modern art, visual, film festival, yoga festival, food festival, business and tourism promotion events as well as events involving eminent Indian and Chinese scholars and writers.
Ministry of Culture Institutions like Kalakshetra Foundation, Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, Sangeet Natak Akademy, Kathak Kendra, National Gallery of Modern Art, Sahitya Akademy will participate in the events of festival.
