Vic Gundotra on 24 April 2014 resigned from the Internet Company Google. He was working as a head of Google+. He was serving the company from 2007. Google Plus is a social network site that was launched in 2011.
Gundotra is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Gundotra earlier worked with Microsoft, handling the developers’ relations for the company.
Apart from being the man behind Google+, Gundotra was instrumental in making Google I/O, company's annual conference for developers a success. The first Google I/O was held in 2008.
Although it boasts more than 500 million users, Google Plus is still struggling to lure people into hanging out on its service for as long as they do on Facebook.
