India’s Political and Foreign Relations with the Gulf Region edited by Prof AK Pasha
Hamid Ansari, the Vice President of India has released a book entitled India’s Political and Foreign Relations with the Gulf Region on 21 January 2014 at New Delhi. The book has been edited by Prof AK Pasha.
During the release function the Vice President congratulated the editor of the book for bringing out informative and useful book on the relation of India with the Gulf regions. The book is a compilation of the working/occasional papers, some research papers presented in the four seminars organized by Gulf Studies Programme (GSP), Centre for West Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawahar Lal Nehru University.

India and the Gulf nations have share cordial relations. India has rapidly made its place in the Gulf nations as a most influential regional power. It also shares strong economic relations with the Gulf countries, where two-thirds of its oil imports originate.
