1.(c) Mukesh Ambani
Mukesh Ambani with a recent soar in net worth has jumped into the exclusive club of the world’s top 10 richest people, as per Forbes Real-Time Billionaire list. 

The United Nations has honoured Kerala Health Minister KK Shailaja by inviting her on panel discussion on World Public Service Day, which was on June 23, 2020. She was the honored speaker from India to speak about the strategies that were adopted by the state to combat the pandemic.

3.(a)Rs 2000 crore
The PM CARES Fund Trust has allocated Rs 2000 crore for the supply of 50000 indigenously manufactured ventilators to government-run COVID hospitals in all states and union territories. 

4.(c) Uttar Pradesh
The Union Cabinet meeting which was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 24 has approved the declaration of Kushinagar airport in Uttar Pradesh as an International airport.

5.(c) January 2021
Justice Rohini Commission set up to examine the issue of the Sub-categorization of Other Backward Classes has gotten its ninth extension for six months till January 31, 2021. The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved the extension of the term of the commission. 

6.(b) Chhattisgarh
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced the launch of 'Godhan Nyay Yojana' in the state on June 25, 2020. Under the scheme, the state will procure cow dung from livestock owners at a fixed procurement rate to make animal husbandry commercially profitable, prevent open grazing by cattle and solve the problem of stray animals on roads and for environment conservation.

7.(b) Nepal
Nepal’s FM radio stations located close to India-Nepal border in Uttarakhand’s Pithoragarh have started giving weather bulletins of disputed areas of Lipulekh, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura, which India considers as a part of its own territory. 

Nepal’s parliamentary panel recently proposed an amendment in the nation’s Citizenship Act. Under the amendment, a foreign woman marrying a Nepali national will have to wait for 7 years to get naturalised citizenship.

The Union States has blocked and terminated Pakistan’s proposal to proscribe an Indian national as a global terrorist by the UN Security Council (UNSC) 1267 sanctions committee.

10.(d) Iran 
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) plans to establish a permanent military base in the Indian Ocean by March 2021. This was announced by IRGC Navy Commander Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri.

11.(d) Australia, New Zealand 
FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 will be hosted by Australia and New Zealand. The 37-member FIFA Council voted in an open vote to decide which country will host the Women's World Cup 2023. While Australia and New Zealand won 22 of the 35 votes cast, Colombia won 13 votes. 

12.(d) Russia
Energia Space Corporation in Russia announced on June 25 that it is planning on taking the first tourist on a spacewalk in 2023, under the terms of a new contract with a United States partner.
