Yuki Bhambri won ITF Uzbekistan F1 Futures Singles Title

Yuki won the title by defeating Dzmitry Zyrmont of Serbia in two straight sets 6-2 6-4 in the final match held in Karshi, Uzbekistan.

Indian tennis player Yuki Bhambri on 11 April 2015 won the Uzbekistan F1 Futures Men’s singles title by defeating Dzmitry Zyrmont of Serbia.

Yuki defeated his rival in two straight sets 6-2 6-4 in the final match held in Karshi, Uzbekistan.

The 15000 US dollars ITF Futures trophy was held between 6 April 2015 and 12 April 2015.

The doubles title was won by Alexandar Vasilenko and Anton Zaitcev of Russia.

At present, Yuki is at the 256th position in the ATP World Tour singles ranking.

About Yuki Bhambri
• He became the Junior World No. 1 in February 2009.
• He became the fourth Indian in history to capture a junior singles Grand Slam championship title by winning the first Junior Australian Open title in 2009. With this win, he became the first Indian to win this title.
• He became the first Indian to win the prestigious Orange Bowl singles title in 2008.
