XAT 2024 Exam Date
XLRI Jamshedpur has released the XAT 2024 exam date on its website. The exam will be held on 7th January 2024. XAT registration date will be notified on XLRI Jamshedpur website in the first week of August. You can go through the important dates for XAT 2024 exam in the table below here.

XAT 2024 Exam Time
XAT exam time is 3.5 Hours. There are three sections in XAT exam with sectional timing. Check the table below to know the XAT exam time.

What is XAT Exam?
XAT is a national level management test that is conducted annually by XLRI, Jamshedpur. The full form of XAT is Xavier Aptitude Test. The mark scored by candidates in XAT is accepted by 10 XLRI colleges and 10 other XAMI member colleges. Apart from this, more than 1,000 B schools accept XAT scores for admission into MBA/PGFM programs.
XAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
XAT eligibility criteria consist of fulfilling the following requirements:
- Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for XAT exam.
- No minimum marks is needed to apply for XAT exam.
- Working professionals who have done their CA/CS are also eligible to apply for XAT 2024 exam.
XAT 2024 Registration
XAT 2024 registration will be done through online mode only. Here are the steps to fill out XAT application form.
- Visit XAT 2024 website @xatonline.in
- Click on the “New Registration” link that appears on the page and fill out the details.
- Verify the XAT ID and registration link through the mail sent to your email.
- Visit the link and login to complete the registration for XAT 2024 exam.
- Upload the required documents in the correct format and size.
- Pay the application fee as per your category.
- Lastly, make sure to take a print out of the application form.
XAT 2024 Application Fee
All candidates must pay the XAT application fee as per their categories. The fee can be paid via online mode via Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, Net Banking or any other mode of online payment.

XAT Exam Pattern 2024
XAT is an aptitude test that is conducted in online mode only. All the questions are objective questions that have to be answered in 3 Hours 30 Minutes. There is a sectional time limit in XAT exam. Each correct answer fetches you 1 mark while an incorrect answer leads to a negative marking of 0.25 mark. The major highlights of XAT exam pattern are as follows:
