UPSC IAS Result 2023
UPSC IAS Result 2023: The UPSC has announced the UPSC IAS result 2023 on its website on 12 June 2023. Candidates can check the UPSC IAS Prelims result at upsc.gov.in. A total of 14624 candidates have qualified the Prelims exam and these candidates will now appear for the Mains exam that is scheduled from 15 September 2023.
However, the successful candidates from the UPSC Prelims result have to fill out the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023 for which the dates shall be intimated by the Commission soon. The UPSC IAS 2023 result is released by the Commission at upsc.gov.in. The prelims IAS exam has two papers of 400 marks while the mains papers are 2350 marks in total. The IAS prelims exam is qualifying in nature. Caniddates have to obtain at least 33% in the UPSC CSAT paper. The merit list of the candidates who will appear for the Mains is released on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in the UPSC IAS Paper 1. The main exam has nine papers out of which two language papers are qualifying in nature. The score calculation formula for prelims is given below.
The score for prelims GS 1 = Number of correct answers X 2 - Number of incorrect responses x 0.66
The score for prelims GS 2 = Number of correct answers X 2.5 - Number of incorrect responses x 0.83

The UPSC IAS Cut Off 2023 will be released by the Commission after the declaration of the final result. UPSC will release the IAS cut off for Prelims, Mains and Final at the same time on its website. We have shared the previous year's UPSC Cut Off in the table below.
