Chhattisgarh: Rural Population as per Census 2011

    Out of the entire population of the Chhattisgarh state, 19,607,961 people out of the total population live in rural area in which the number of males is 9,797,426 and females are 9,810,535. 

     

    In rural areas, the female sex ratio was 991 females per 1000 males. The total number of children between 0-6 years living in rural areas was 2,924,941. Average literacy rate in rural areas was 65.99%.
