Founded in 2021, Gujarat Titans(GT) is a franchise cricket team based in  Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Last season, the team won the IPL tournament 2022 and is all set to participate in the upcoming tournament. It is one of the new teams that came into existence before the 2022 season. The team franchise is owned by CVC Capital Partners. Some of the key players of the team are; Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, and David Miller.

Gujarat Titans have carefully planned their strategy for this season. They aim to add more valuable players to their otherwise strong squad. At the mini-auction that took place on December 23, they traded Afghanistan stumper Rahmanullah Gurbaz and New Zealand pacer Lockie Ferguson to the Kolkata Knight Riders and have also retained some of the top performers such as Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, David Miller, Matthew Wade, Jayant Yadav, and Vijay Shankar.
