Virat Kohli equalled and then broke Sachin Tendulkar's record of 49 ODI centuries in the same World Cup.
Kohli equalled the record on his 35th birthday and scored his 80th International Hundred and 50th ODI century during the semi-final match against New Zealand.
Rohit Sharma broke the record for the most centuries in the ICC Cricket World Cup after a blistering knock against Afghanistan in the 2023 edition. Sharma scored his 7th century and overtook Sachin Tendulkar's near-unbreakable record of 6 World Cup hundreds.
Rohit Sharma took only 61 balls to reach the milestone. In the end, he finished his innings with 131 off 84 balls.
Australia's David Warner tied Sachin Tendulkar's record of 6 centuries in match 24 against Netherlands. Warner scored two hundreds in the 2023 World Cup.
Quinton De Kock scored 4 centuries in the 2023 World Cup.
New Zealand's Rachin Ravindra has been one of the most impressive batters of the World Cup 2023. Just 23 years old, Ravindra scored 3 centuries.
