In the history of cricket, only Sachin Tendulkar has amassed 100 centuries. With 71 centuries, Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is in second place, and Australian Ricky Ponting is in the third place overall for most centuries scored.

Sachin has amassed 100 centuries in his 24-year cricket career, compared to Ricky Ponting's 71 in his 17 years and Virat Kohli's 74 in his 15 years.

There are 4 Indians in the top 10 list of cricketers while South Africa and Sri Lanka have 2 players each.

As he needs 180 more runs to move into the top 5 all-time ODI run scorers, Kohli has the opportunity to break yet another record. In the elite ranking, he is just behind Tendulkar, Sangakkara, Ponting, Jayasuriya, and Jayawardene.
