Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC), Ludhiana

One of the oldest, prestigious and minority institution of North India- Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC), Ludhiana was established in 1956. The engineering college was established under the aegis of Nankana Sahib Education Trust (NSET). Since its inception, the college was affiliated to Punjab University. The programmes at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It is the first engineering college of Punjab to have been conferred Autonomous Status by University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2012 under the section 2(f) and 12 (b) of UGC Act 1956. The undergraduate programme at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana is accredited with National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi followed by accreditation from NAAC.
