University Business School (UBS), Chandigarh

University Business School-formerly known as Department of Commerce and Business Management, was given its present name in 1995 by the Panjab University. The transformation from a department to a full-fledged business school has given it the acknowledgement of maturity and completeness as a center of management education in India. University Business School, Chandigarh mission is to create students with calibre to become effective managers, teachers and researchers in future. The Business School uses active multifaceted pedagogy with an operative interface with corporate industry. UBS, Chandigarh is recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC) under special assistance programme for areas such as Accounting and Business Finance-Socio Responsibility, Supply Chain Management and Human Resources Accounting (HRA) among others.
