Assam Board of Secondary Education will be announcing the Assam Board class 10 examination dates soon. According to the latest media reports, the Assam Board class 10 examinations will be conducted 15 days after the COVID-19 situation improves in the state. Approximately 4.4 lakh students registered for the Assam Board class 10 examinations which have been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meeting conducted on May 22
A meeting with the Board officials and the All Assam Students Union delegation was conducted on May 22, 2021, in which the senior officials from the board have stated that the Assam Board class 10 exams will be conducted 15 days after the COVID-9 situation is back to normal in the state. The Assam Board class 10 exam dates will be announced on the official website of the board.
The All Assam Students Union Chief Adviser Samujjal Bhattacharya while speaking to the media stated that the Assam board officials have assured that if the COVID-19 situation improves they are ready to conduct the Class 10 exams by giving the students a 15-day advance notice. He further added that SEBA will be conducting another round of meeting with the students union after five days and the decision on the Assam class 10 exams 2021 is expected to be made soon.
The Assam Students Union General Secretary Sankar Jyoti Baruah has also appealed to the students to continue with their studies. He also insisted on conducting meetings with academicians, students, and guardians before finalizing the decision of the board on the class 10 exams.
