The Bihar School Examination Board, BSEB is all set to begin the Class 10th or Matric board examinations from February 21, 2018, i.e. tomorrow. It has been reported that about 17 lakh students would be appearing for the Class 10th Bihar Board Examinations 2018, across 1426 centers in the state.
This year, the examination pattern has been changed. The examination would have a set of objective and descriptive questions. Before the commencement of the examination, the Bihar Board has released some important instructions for all the candidates regarding the OMR sheet for objective type questions, admit card and general information. These instructions are available on the official website bihardboard.ac.in.
The students who are appearing for the Bihar Board 2018 class 10th examination are required to carry their admit cards. In case candidates have not collected the same yet, they are advised to do so at the earliest from the respective schools or download from the website.
The notification that has been released by the board, pertains to the changes or errors, if any, in the admit cards. Please note that students without the admit cards would not be allowed to appear in the examination. The Bihar Board exam for Class 10th students start from February 21, 2018, and would conclude by February 28, 2018.
Some Important Instructions For Bihar Board Class 10th 2018 Examinations:
• The candidates are again advised to note that they have collected their Admit Cards.
• Keeping in mind the reports received by the Board regarding the delay in re-issue of the admit cards, the board has accordingly agreed to let the candidates appear in the examination on the basis of the old admit cards. These students would have to present the old admit card at the new examination centers and would be given admission on the basis of the same.
• Also, in case a candidate's name does not feature in the attendance roll call for any of the reasons cited above or otherwise, the candidates would be permitted to appear for the examination. The attendance of such candidates would then instead be recorded separately along with a countersigned picture. The details of all such attendance would be provided to the Examination Controller by means of an email at the end of the examination on the same date. The hard copy of all such would be collected and deposited District Education Officer's office latest by March 1, 2018.
• In regards the answer sheets, all candidates are informed that they would be provided an OMR sheet for all the objective type questions and a simple or normal answer sheets for the non-objective type question papers would be provided. Candidates should please note that the OMR sheets would be collected earlier than the end of the examination. Yesterday, different news sources have claimed that candidates have also been advised not to wear shoes and sock for the examination. The students are instead advised to wear slippers, open sandals or flip-flops the measure has been taken to keep under check any instance of cheating and to also save the time in case of checking and invigilation. The BSEB Class 12th Board Examination 2018 has already ended on February 16th, 2018.
