The Intermediate or class 12th board examination, conducted by Bihar Board, has already begun at different centers across the state.
The examination is conducted in two sittings. The morning shift is from 9:45 a.m to 1:00 p.m. Extra time of 15 minutes is given to the students for reading the question paper.
It has been speculated that more than 12 lakh students have registered for the Bihar board intermediate exam, this year.
Students have been preparing for the examination for a very long time. Many new measures have been executed to ensure a cheating free examination.
Bihar board has always been in the news for the extensive cheating measures conducted during the examination. To curb that, the board has applied some strict rules and regulations.
Once the morning shift examinations are completed, the evening shift paper will begin at 1:45 p.m and will end around 5:00 p.m. The Bihar board Intermediate examination will conclude on February 16th, 2018.
This year, the Bihar Board has changed their exam pattern. Around 50 per cent of the paper is said to be in an objective format. The examination pattern has also changed for matriculation students.
The Board Chairman has stated that a Whatsapp group named 'Bihar Board Exam 2018' has been created for the proper conduct of the examination and the continuous monitoring and exchange of information. In this group, along with the board officials, all District Magistrates, SSPs, SPs, DEOs, additional co-secretariat officers and preferred sub-group level officials have been included.
