CBSE 10th Exam 2020 Update: Today, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal in his Live Webinar for students, informed them that the CBSE Board 10th Exam 2020 has been completed for all major subjects for all the students across India, except for few areas from North East Delhi. The clarification comes in response to query put forth by a students on the same. The clarification from the Education Minister has come across as a great relief for students and parents who were still wondering about holding of pending exams for 10th Class students. Following the live webinar, HRD Ministry also tweeted about the same, confirming that the CBSE Board Exams have been completed for 10th Class students for important subjects and for rest it stands cancelled.

Exam to be held only for North East Delhi Students
The clarification comes, even though CBSE had informed students about the same earlier through an official notification on 1st April 2020. In that notification, CBSE had confirmed that the 10th Class Board Exam 2020 for important / key subjects was already completed for all students across India. However, few pockets from North East Delhi, which witnessed violence in early February – March, saw cancellation of exams. For these areas, CBSE board will be holding the exams for 6 key subjects after the lockdown period ends.
10 Day Notice Before Exams Begin
HRD Ministry has also confirmed that the CBSE Board is currently working on finalizing dates for the pending exams for 10th and 12th Class students who are due to appear for the exams. In the webinar, Education Minister said that students can expect the revised datesheet for CBSE Board Exam 2020 to be out in next few days. Following this HRD Ministry also tweeted that students will be provided adequate time for 10 days at the minimum to prepare themselves before the commencement of the exams.
