CBSE 10th Result 2021: Board Releases Additional FAQs on Evaluation Criteria, Download at cbse.gov.in

The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to release the CBSE class 0 Results 2021 on the official website in a few days. The CBSE has released a new set of FAQs regarding the calculation of marks for the class 10 students. Check details here.

The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to release the CBSE class 10 Results 2021 on the official website in a few days. The board recently released an additional set of Frequently Asked Questions which is an extension of the FAQs released by the board previously. 

CBSE Class 10 students expecting the results can visit the official website of the board for more clarity regarding the calculation of marks for declaring the results. The FAQ’s release mentions the calculation of marks for the Mathematics bifurcation which was introduced in 2020 by the board, calculating the marks in languages, schools that switched from state to CBSE boards, etc.

CBSE Class 10 Previously released FAQ’s

The CBSE class 10 results 2021 will be calculated by the schools based on the evaluation criteria set by the board. The board had earlier announced the cancellation of the class 10 exams and stated that the students will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set by the board. 

Policy for calculation of marks

According to the assessment pattern issued, the students will be evaluated for a total of 100 marks for each subject. As per the assessment criteria given 20 marks will be allotted for the internal assessment while the 80 marks will be based on marks secured by the candidates in the various exams conducted by the schools during the academic year. The marks allotted should be in proportion to the performance of the schools in the previous board exams.
