
CBSE class 12 Exams Cancelled: The Central Board of Secondary Education has cancelled the CBSE class 12 examinations. The decision to cancellation of the class 12 board exams was welcomed by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal who tweeted wishing the students all the best in their future endeavours. During the meeting, it was also decided that like last year, in case some students wish to appear for the exams an option will be provided to them by the CBSE, as and when the situation becomes suitable.
The decision to cancel the CBSE class 12 board exams was taken in a high-level meeting conducted on June 1 chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Union education Minister on his official Twitter account expressed his feelings of the cancellations on the cancellation of the class 12 exams by wishing the students all the best for their career and reiterating the safety and career of the students of the prime importance of the central government.
The cancellation of the CBSE class 12 exams have come as a relief for the students as the decision has been taken to ensure the safety of the students and the teachers.

Results based on objective criteria
The education minister also pointed out that to ensure the safety and security of the teachers, students and parents the meeting chaired by the Prime Minister has decided to issue the results of the CBSE class 12 students based on well-defined criteria of evaluation. CBSE class 12 results 2021 will be released as per well defined objective criteria soon. The criteria for evaluation will be announced by the board officials on the official website soon.
