CBSE Board Exam 2020 Datesheet by October End

Sources close to CBSE Board have confirmed that the board will release the official timetable / datesheet for CBSE Board Exam 2020 by end of October 2020. While the board has formally refrained from confirming any date for the release of exam time table, sources have confirmed that the datesheet would be out by end of the month. This is citing the fact the registration process for private students will end today i.e. on 30th September 2019 and after today, those candidates will be required to pay late fee to apply for the board exam.

Practical Exam to commence in December 2019

As per sources, the CBSE Board has already prepared a rough draft for the CBSE Board Exam Datesheet 2020. With the registration coming to an end, the Board will formally release the datesheet for exam which will help students plan their preparation strategy accordingly. Sourced have also hinted that the Board is planning to hold the CBSE Practical Exam 2020 as part of the board exam in December 2019 itself. However, the final dates for the same are yet to be announced by the board. With practical exams being held in December, private schools will get enough time to hold the exams and submit the marks with the board for final assessment.

Exam for Vocational Subjects after Main Exam

Another interesting fact has emerged from sources this year, is that the Main Exam will be held first followed by the examination for electives and vocational subjects. The tentative timeline provided by board suggests that the CBSE Board Exam 2020 will commence on 15th February 2020 with the first paper of English language for both Class 10 and Class 12 students. However, examination for electives and vocational subjects will be held only after the completion of exam papers for key subjects and main papers.
