
Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education has released the assessment criteria for the Chhattisgarh Board Class 10 students. The Chhattisgarh Board class 10 students will be promoted to the next class based on the marks secured in the internal assessment. According to media reports, the students who were unable to appear for the practical exams will be given minimum marks to pass the exams.
According to media reports the students who were unable to appear for the practical exams or projects due to the COVID-19 situation will be awarded the minimum marks required to pass. The results of Chhattisgarh board class 10 students will be prepared based on an internal assessment of the students.
Marks to be allotted
Students will be awarded a maximum of 72 out of 75 marks in every theory for the subject while in the theory exams of additional subjects a maximum of 29 out of 30 marks will be awarded and 68 out of 70 marks will be awarded for practical exams.
As per reports, self-study students will also be given minimum marks to pass the practical and project work. If the students are not satisfied with the marks, they will be given a chance to appear in the exams once the ongoing situation normalizes.
VK Goyal, secretary, CBGSE as per reports in an official statement mentioned that if the students have not completed the assignment work or have not achieved the minimum marks required, they will be given passing marks. If the students are not satisfied with the marks allotted then they will be given an opportunity to appear for the exams when the situation improves.
Chhattisgarh Board cancelled the CGBSE class 10 exams due to the increasing COVID-19 cases. The exams were scheduled to be conducted from April 15 to May 1, 2021.
